Employment Life Skills Training (ELST)
The ELST program focuses on assisting Indigenous clients, requiring that at least 80% of participants be Indigenous, who are unemployed, underemployed or students, to secure employment and advance their education. This program focuses on both individual and group support, to enhance employment certificate courses, such as First Aid, alongside workshops that provide skills and tools for starting a small business. Additionally, the ELST program offers one-on-one assistance with resume building and provides support with work gear, ensuring clients are well-prepared to enter or re-enter the workforce. This comprehensive strategy equips participants with the necessary skills and resources to reach their career and educational aspirations.
